Im Verlauf des Spiels wirst du all diese großartigen Songs hören – und die Jukebox auf der Milano hat sie auch. Einige davon spielen eine wichtige Rolle beim Huddle, einer zentralen Gameplay-Mechanik im Kampf. Du kannst dabei zwischen zwei Knallern auf Star-Lords Kassettenspieler auswählen, um die Guardians zu motivieren und deine Gegner zu besiegen. Sie werden nicht mal wissen, was sie umgehauen hat.
Alle Songs auf der Playlist kommen auch im Spiel selbst vor, wobei außerdem die Möglichkeit besteht, sie bei Bedarf stummzuschalten oder durch Streaming-sichere Alternativen zu ersetzen.
